Sleeping seems like it should be the easiest thing in the world — and yet many of us really struggle with it, including me. Sometimes it takes forever for me to fall asleep, other times I awaken and ruminate over real and imagined troubles, and once in a while I’ll lay in bed with insomnia, desperately (and angrily) begging sleep to come.
This month I’ll share practical suggestions as well as guided meditations to listen to when you get in bed, to help you consciously prepare to rest, use body mindfulness to ground yourself and relax, release anxiety and racing thoughts, and to offer yourself and others kindness, patience, and peace. Note that this month’s practices are not designed to make you sleep, but rather for you to create the causes and conditions that are most conducive to enabling sleep to arise.
Plan to practice the weekly guided audio meditation each night, and check-in in the comments and in our Chat!
There is nothing in this world that is worth losing a
night's sleep over, nothing.

See you tomorrow with our first audio recording for this theme. Until then, may you appreciate your measure of safety, ease, and comfort. May all beings have shelter, food, and support. May it be so!
Metta+++,
Kim✨
