We all know that the happiest people are also those who have happy and healthy relationships — the correlation between the two is well-established and undeniable. And even though we know this, sometimes it’s so hard to be close and intimate with the people we love the best — our partners, family, and friends. That’s why this month I’m sharing exercises from my new book, Happy Relationships: 25 Buddhist Practices to Transform Your Connections with Your Partner, Family, and Friends — to help all of us create and maintain loving and secure connections, repair ruptures effectively, and learn to establish wise boundaries, too.
Plan to listen and practice everyday, and use the exercises and contemplative prompts to support your efforts. The intention of this newsletter is to help you take care of yourself, so be gentle and mindful—if you need to rest or take a break, don’t be afraid to do so. If you have questions, ask in the comments, and be sure to encourage everyone in our community by posting in our chat!
Thank You
