Sometimes giving is just another task I have to get done — a present I need take the time to buy, an outstanding debt that I owe someone something like a service or a favor, or a calculated transaction to get something from someone in return. But giving can be so much more than that for both the giver and the receiver! That’s why, starting tomorrow, every Monday morning this month you’ll receive a guided meditation to help you learn to give with openness, ease, and joy!
As you practice, you’ll start to experience the freedom and happiness of generosity, which will help you discover that there are opportunities in each moment to share, offer, and give with your thoughts, words, and deeds.
Plan to listen and practice everyday, and use the exercises and contemplative prompts to support your efforts. The intention of this newsletter is to help you take care of yourself, so be gentle and mindful—if you need to rest or take a break, don’t be afraid to do so. If you have questions, ask in the comments, and be sure to encourage everyone in our community by posting your experiences as you begin to appreciate your beautiful qualities over the next few weeks.
